TrackAD

What can TrackAD do for you?

You keep the AD status for every aircraft on your books, it works out what falls due and when, it watches the Federal Register every morning, and it prints the compliance record for the annual.

What it does

  • Finds FAA directives that name your aircraft Airframe, engine, propeller — and the appliances too: magnetos, ELT, radios. You list what is fitted, it searches all of it.
  • Works out what is due, and against the right clock Hours, calendar or cycles, whichever comes first. An engine AD counts engine time, not airframe time — on most light aircraft those are thousands of hours apart.
  • Tells you what is new since the last annual New directives arrive daily, so one issued three weeks ago is already there.
  • Fills the aircraft in from its N-number Make, model, serial, year and engine come straight from the FAA aircraft registry. All of it stays editable, and it flags where the registry disagrees with your record.
  • Prints the 91.417 status record AD number, revision, method of compliance, when it was done and when the next action falls due — the columns the regulation asks for, in that order.
  • Keeps every tail on one screen What is overdue, what is due soon, and what still needs a decision.

On file: 12,278 FAA directives, 1994 to today, refreshed every morning.*1*2

1 $50 ~$43
5 $50 ~$215
20 $50 ~$860
50 $50 ~$2,150

Start with one tail number.

No card, no call. Type an N-number and it fills itself in.

TrackAD is a recordkeeping aid, not an airworthiness determination. It tracks what you record and computes what falls due. Whether a directive applies to a particular aircraft is the certificated mechanic's call, and applicability often turns on serial numbers or manufacturer service documents that are not in this database. Verify against the FAA's Dynamic Regulatory System before signing anything.
