Applicability*9
Model Hawker 800XP and Hawker 800A (U-125A) series airplanes, as specified in Raytheon Aircraft Service Bulletin SB 32-3274, dated August 1999; certificated in any category. Note 1: This AD applies to each airplane identified in the preceding applicability provision, regardless of whether it has been modified, altered, or repaired in the area subject to the requirements of this AD. For airplanes that have been modified, altered, or repaired so that the performance of the requirements of this AD is affected, the owner/operator must request approval for an alternative method of compliance in accordance with paragraph (c) of this AD. The request should include an assessment of the effect of the modification, alteration, or repair on the unsafe condition addressed by this AD; and, if the unsafe condition has not been eliminated, the request should include specific proposed actions to address it.
Compliance
Required as indicated, unless accomplished previously. To prevent the inability to extend the nose landing gear due to excessive clearance of the roller in the drag stay rigging, which could result in damage to the airplane upon landing, accomplish the following: Inspection and Adjustment (a) Within 50 hours time-in-service after the effective date of this AD: Remove the paint from the drag stay arm of the nose landing gear at its point of contact with the stop bolt, do a check of the roller clearances, and make any necessary adjustments, in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions of Raytheon Aircraft Service Bulletin SB 32-3274, dated August 1999. (b) Airplanes which have had the 600-hour inspection specified in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual before the effective date of this AD or which will have the 600-hour inspection within 50 hours time-in-service after the effective date of this AD are considered to be in compliance with paragraph (a) of this AD. Alternative Methods of Compliance (c) An alternative method of compliance or adjustment of the compliance time that provides an acceptable level of safety may be used if approved by the Manager, Wichita Aircraft Certification Office (ACO), FAA. Operators shall submit their requests through an appropriate FAA Principal Maintenance Inspector, who may add comments and then send it to the Manager, Wichita ACO. Note 2: Information concerning the existence of approved alternative methods of compliance with this AD, if any, may be obtained from the Wichita ACO. Special Flight Permits (d) Special flight permits may be issued in accordance with sections 21.197 and 21.199 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR 21.197 and 21.199) to operate the airplane to a location where the requirements of this AD can be accomplished. Incorporation by Reference (e) The actions shall be done in accordance with Raytheon Aircraft Service Bulletin SB 32-3274, dated August 1999. This incorporation by reference was approved by the Director of the Federal Register in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 552(a) and 1 CFR part 51. You just looked this one up by hand
TrackAD holds all 12,278 of them and matches them against the aircraft you actually look after — airframe, engine, propeller and appliances in one pass — then works out what falls due and when.
- Bring your existing list in from a spreadsheet Paste the rows straight out of Excel. Headers like C/W Date and N/A are read for you.
- A copy that works when this does not One file. No internet, no login, no this software running. For the morning something has to be produced and the computer is not cooperating.
- $5 a month, or $50 a year Up to 50 aircraft on either.
