AD 2012-02-17 Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing Company Airplanes
Models named: 757-200, -200PF, -200CB, -300 series. Read the applicability below — it usually turns on serial or part numbers too.
Applicability*9
This AD applies to all The Boeing Company Model 757-200, -200PF, -200CB, and -300 series airplanes, certificated in any category.
Compliance
You are responsible for having the actions required by this AD performed within the compliance times specified, unless the actions have already been done.
Required actions
At the later of the times in paragraphs (g)(1) and (g)(2) of this AD, do ultrasonic and general visual inspections for cracking and corrosion of the front spar lower chord at the fastener locations common to the side link support fitting at WS 292, in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions of Boeing Special Attention Service Bulletin 757-57-0065, Revision 1, dated August 1, 2011. Where Boeing Special Attention Service Bulletin 757-57-0065, Revision 1, dated August 1, 2011, specifies a compliance time “after the date on this service bulletin,” this AD requires compliance at the specified time after the effective date of this AD. Repeat the inspection thereafter at intervals not to exceed 12,000 flight cycles. (1) At the applicable time specified in paragraph 1.E., “Compliance,” of Boeing Special Attention Service Bulletin 757-57-0065, Revision 1, dated August 1, 2011. (2) Within 12,000 flight cycles after doing the modification of the nacelle and wing structure specified in Boeing Service Bulletin 757-54-0034 or Boeing Service Bulletin 757-54-0035.
Unsafe condition
This AD results from reports of cracking at the front spar lower chord at the fastener locations common to the side link support fitting at wing station (WS) 292. The Federal Aviation Administration is issuing this AD to detect and correct such cracking and corrosion, which, if not corrected, could grow and result in structural failure of the spar.
Affected ADs

You just looked this one up by hand
TrackAD holds all 12,278 of them and matches them against the aircraft you actually look after — airframe, engine, propeller and appliances in one pass — then works out what falls due and when.
- Bring your existing list in from a spreadsheet Paste the rows straight out of Excel. Headers like C/W Date and N/A are read for you.
- A copy that works when this does not One file. No internet, no login, no this software running. For the morning something has to be produced and the computer is not cooperating.
- $5 a month, or $50 a year Up to 50 aircraft on either.
