Compliance
You are responsible for having the actions required by this AD performed within the compliance times specified, unless the actions have already been done.
Required actions
Within 48 months after the effective date of this AD, modify the bonding lead installation of isolation valve 283HN, in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions of the applicable service bulletin specified in paragraph (g)(1), (g)(2), or (g)(3) of this AD. (1) Airbus Mandatory Service Bulletin A330-21-3165, Revision 03, dated December 7, 2012 (for Model A330-201, -202, -203, -223, -243, -301, -302, -303, -321, -322, -323, -341, -342, and -343 airplanes). (2) Airbus Mandatory Service Bulletin A330-21-3160, dated August 4, 2011 (for Model A330-223F and -243F airplanes). (3) Airbus Mandatory Service Bulletin A340-21-4152, Revision 03, dated December 7, 2012 (for Model A340-211, -212, -213, -311, -312, and -313 airplanes).
Unsafe condition
This AD was prompted by a determination that the bonding lead from a certain isolation valve to a frame was too close to an electrical harness, which might cause chafing between the electrical harness and the associated bonding lead. This chafing could lead to a short circuit of the isolation valve and consequent non-closure of the isolation valve, which would prevent the air flow to be shut off in case of fire. We are issuing this AD to prevent such chafing, which could result in non-closure of the isolation valve in the event of a fire and consequent damage to the airplane and injury to its occupants.
Affected ADs
None.

You just looked this one up by hand
TrackAD holds all 12,278 of them and matches them against the aircraft you actually look after — airframe, engine, propeller and appliances in one pass — then works out what falls due and when.
- Bring your existing list in from a spreadsheet Paste the rows straight out of Excel. Headers like C/W Date and N/A are read for you.
- A copy that works when this does not One file. No internet, no login, no this software running. For the morning something has to be produced and the computer is not cooperating.
- $5 a month, or $50 a year Up to 50 aircraft on either.
