Required actions
Within 30 months after the effective date of this AD: Perform a one-time general visual inspection for chafing of the outer tank sensor harness between ribs 26 and 27, in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions of Airbus Service Bulletin A300-28-0091, dated March 5, 2013 (for Model A300 series airplanes); or Airbus Service Bulletin A300-28-6109, Revision 01, dated December 20, 2013 (for Model A300-600 series airplanes); (1) If any previous repairs are identified, or if braid and wire insulation is found damaged with the conductor exposed during the inspection required by the introductory text of paragraph (g) of this AD: Before further flight, repair using a method approved by the Manager, International Branch, ANM-116, Transport Airplane Directorate, FAA; or the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA); or Airbus's EASA Design Organization Approval (DOA). (2) If the braid and wire insulation is found damaged without the conductor exposed during the inspection required by the introductory text of paragraph (g) of this AD: Before further flight, repair, in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions of Airbus Service Bulletin A300-28-0091, dated March 5, 2013 (for Model A300 series airplanes); or Airbus Service Bulletin A300-28-6109, Revision 01, dated December 20, 2013 (for Model A300-600 series airplanes).
Unsafe condition
This AD was prompted by a report of chafing found on the overflow sensor harness of the surge tank, and subsequent contact between the electrical wiring and fuel tank structure. We are issuing this AD to prevent chafing of the harness and subsequent contact between the electrical wiring and fuel tank structure, which could result in electrical arcing and a fuel tank explosion and consequent loss of the airplane.
Affected ADs
None.

You just looked this one up by hand
TrackAD holds all 12,278 of them and matches them against the aircraft you actually look after — airframe, engine, propeller and appliances in one pass — then works out what falls due and when.
- Bring your existing list in from a spreadsheet Paste the rows straight out of Excel. Headers like C/W Date and N/A are read for you.
- A copy that works when this does not One file. No internet, no login, no this software running. For the morning something has to be produced and the computer is not cooperating.
- $5 a month, or $50 a year Up to 50 aircraft on either.
