AD 2018-09-01 Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing Company Airplanes
Models named: 737-100, -200, -200C, -300, -400, -500 series. Read the applicability below — it usually turns on serial or part numbers too.
Applicability*9
(1) This AD applies to all The Boeing Company Model 737-100, -200, -200C, -300, -400, and -500 series airplanes, certificated in any category. (2) Installation of Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) ST01219SE( http://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgstc.nsf/0/ebd1cec7b301293e86257cb30045557a/$FILE/ST01219SE.pdf ) does not affect the ability to accomplish the actions required by this AD. Therefore, for airplanes on which STC ST01219SE is installed, a “change in product” alternative method of compliance (AMOC) approval request is not necessary to comply with the requirements of 14 CFR 39.17.
Compliance
Comply with this AD within the compliance times specified, unless already done.
Required actions
(1) For Group 1 airplanes identified in Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 737-57A1334, dated September 26, 2017: Within 120 days after the effective date of this AD, inspect the airplane and do all applicable corrective actions using a method approved in accordance with the procedures specified in paragraph (i) of this AD. (2) For Group 2 airplanes identified in Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 737-57A1334, dated September 26, 2017: Except as required by paragraph (h) of this AD, at the applicable times specified in paragraph 1.E., “Compliance,” of Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 737-57A1334, dated September 26, 2017, do all applicable actions identified as “RC” (required for compliance) in, and in accordance with, the Accomplishment Instructions of Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 737-57A1334, dated September 26, 2017.
Unsafe condition
This AD was prompted by the report of a crack indication in the main landing gear (MLG) beam forward support fitting on the inboard side of the wing buttock line (WBL) 157 rib, and multiple reports of similar crack findings on other airplanes. We are issuing this AD to address cracking of the MLG beam forward support fitting on the inboard side of the WBL 157 rib. Undetected cracks could lead to a fuel leak, the inability of a principal structural element to carry limit load, or an MLG collapse that could prevent continued safe flight and landing.
Affected ADs
None.

You just looked this one up by hand
TrackAD holds all 12,278 of them and matches them against the aircraft you actually look after — airframe, engine, propeller and appliances in one pass — then works out what falls due and when.
- Bring your existing list in from a spreadsheet Paste the rows straight out of Excel. Headers like C/W Date and N/A are read for you.
- A copy that works when this does not One file. No internet, no login, no this software running. For the morning something has to be produced and the computer is not cooperating.
- $5 a month, or $50 a year Up to 50 aircraft on either.
