Models named: F28 Mark 0070, 0100. Read the applicability below — it usually turns on serial or part numbers too.

Applicability*9

This AD applies to all Fokker Services B.V. Model F28 Mark 0070 and 0100 airplanes, certificated in any category.

Compliance

Comply with this AD within the compliance times specified, unless already done.

Required actions

This paragraph restates the requirements of paragraph (g) of AD 2019-12-10, with no changes. Within 90 days after August 1, 2019 (the effective date of AD 2019-12-10), revise the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate the information specified in Fokker Engineering Report SE-623, Fokker 70/100 Airworthiness Limitations Section, Part 2—(Structure ALIs and Safe Life Items), Issue 18, dated June 14, 2018. Accomplishing the maintenance or inspection program revision required by paragraph (i) of this AD terminates the requirements of this paragraph. (1) The initial compliance time for doing the tasks is at the time specified in Fokker Engineering Report SE-623, Fokker 70/100 Airworthiness Limitations Section, Part 2—(Structure ALIs and Safe Life Items), Issue 18, dated June 14, 2018, or within 90 days after August 1, 2019, whichever occurs later. (2) If any discrepancy is found, before further flight, repair using a method approved by the Manager, Large Aircraft Section, International Validation Branch, FAA; or the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA); or Fokker B.V. Service's EASA Design Organization Approval (DOA). If approved by the DOA, the approval must include the DOA-authorized signature.

Unsafe condition

This AD was prompted by a determination that new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations are necessary. The FAA is issuing this AD to address reduced structural integrity of the airplane.
