AD 2020-11-05 Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters
Models named: EC120B. Read the applicability below — it usually turns on serial or part numbers too.
Applicability*9
This AD applies to Airbus Helicopters Model EC120B helicopters, certificated in any category, all serial numbers.
Compliance
Comply with this AD within the compliance times specified, unless already done.
Required actions
(1) For the purposes of this AD, an affected part is any tail rotor hub body part number C642A0100103. (2) For the purposes of this AD, a serviceable part is any affected part that is new (not previously installed on any helicopter); or any affected part on which an inspection has been done as specified in the instructions of Airbus Helicopters Emergency Alert Service Bulletin 05A020, Revision 0, dated October 29, 2019, or Airbus Helicopters Emergency Alert Service Bulletin 05A020, Revision 1, dated November 8, 2019, and there were no cracks.
Unsafe condition
This AD was prompted by a report of recurrent loss of tightening torque on several attachment bolts on the tail rotor hub body. The FAA is issuing this AD to address this condition, which could lead to cracking and potential loss of the tail rotor drive and consequent loss of yaw control of the helicopter.
Affected ADs
None.

You just looked this one up by hand
TrackAD holds all 12,278 of them and matches them against the aircraft you actually look after — airframe, engine, propeller and appliances in one pass — then works out what falls due and when.
- Bring your existing list in from a spreadsheet Paste the rows straight out of Excel. Headers like C/W Date and N/A are read for you.
- A copy that works when this does not One file. No internet, no login, no this software running. For the morning something has to be produced and the computer is not cooperating.
- $5 a month, or $50 a year Up to 50 aircraft on either.
