Makes named: beech, raytheon. Read the applicability below — it usually turns on serial or part numbers too.
Applicability*9
Beech Models 45 (YT-34), A45 (T-34A, B-45), and D45 (T-34B) airplanes, all serial numbers, certificated in any category. Note 1: This AD applies to each airplane identified in the preceding applicability provision, regardless of whether it has been modified, altered, or repaired in the area subject to the requirements of this AD. For airplanes that have been modified, altered, or repaired so that the performance of the requirements of this AD is affected, the owner/operator must request approval for an alternative method of compliance in accordance with paragraph (e) of this AD. The request should include an assessment of the effect of the modification, alteration, or repair on the unsafe condition addressed by this AD; and, if the unsafe condition has not been eliminated, the request should include specific proposed actions to address it.
Compliance
Required as indicated in the body of this AD, unless already accomplished. To assure the operational safety of the above-referenced airplanes, accomplish the following: (a) Prior to further flight after the effective date of this AD, accomplish the following: (1) Fabricate two placards using letters of at least \1/10\-inch in height with each consisting of the following words: Never exceed speed, Vne-175 MPH (152 knots) IAS; Normal Acceleration (G) Limits 0, and +2.5; ACROBATIC MANEUVERS PROHIBITED.'' (2) Install these placards on the airplane instrument panels (one on the front panel and one on the rear panel) next to the airspeed indicators within the pilot's clear view. (3) Insert a copy of this AD into the Limitations Section of the Airplane Flight Manual (AFM). (b) Within the next 10 hours time-in-service (TIS) after the effective date of this AD, modify the airspeed indicator glass by accomplishing the following: (1) Place a red radial line on the indicator glass at 175 miles per hour (mph) (152 knots). (2) Place a white slippage index mark between the airspeed indicator glass and the case to visually verify that the glass has not rotated. (c) Within the next 10 hours TIS after the effective date of this AD, mark the outside surface of the ``g'' meters with lines of approximately \1/16\-inch by \3/16\-inch, as follows: (1) A red line at 0 and 2.5; and (2) A white slippage mark between each ``g'' meter glass and case to visually verify that the glass has not rotated. (d) Fabricating and installing the placards and inserting a copy of this AD into the AFM as required by paragraphs (a)(1), (a)(2), and (a)(3) of this AD, respectively, may be performed by the owner/ operator holding at least a private pilot certificate as authorized by Sec. 43.7 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR 43.7), and must be entered into the aircraft records showing compliance with this AD in accordance with Sec. 43.9 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR 43.9). (e) An alternative method of compliance or adjustment of the compliance times that provides an equivalent level of safety may be approved by the Manager, Wichita Aircraft Certification Office (ACO), 1801 Airport Road, Rm. 100, Mid-Continent Airport, Wichita, Kansas, 67209. The request shall be forwarded through an appropriate FAA [[Page 31691]] Maintenance Inspector, who may add comments and then send it to the Manager, Wichita ACO. Note 2: Information concerning the existence of approved alternative methods of compliance with this AD, if any, may be obtained from the Wichita ACO. (f) Information related to this priority letter AD may be examined at the FAA, Central Region, Office of the Regional Counsel, Room 1558, 601 E. 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106. (g) This amendment becomes effective on July 9, 1999, to all persons except those persons to whom it was made immediately effective by priority letter AD 99-12-02, issued May 28, 1999, which contains the requirements of this amendment. Issued in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 4, 1999. Marvin R. Nuss, Acting Manager, Small Airplane Directorate, Aircraft Certification Service. You just looked this one up by hand
TrackAD holds all 12,278 of them and matches them against the aircraft you actually look after — airframe, engine, propeller and appliances in one pass — then works out what falls due and when.
- Bring your existing list in from a spreadsheet Paste the rows straight out of Excel. Headers like C/W Date and N/A are read for you.
- A copy that works when this does not One file. No internet, no login, no this software running. For the morning something has to be produced and the computer is not cooperating.
- $5 a month, or $50 a year Up to 50 aircraft on either.
