AD 99-22-02 Airworthiness Directives; Boeing Model 757-200PF Series Airplanes
Models named: 757-200PF series. Read the applicability below — it usually turns on serial or part numbers too.
Applicability*9
All Model 757-200PF series airplanes, certificated in any category. Note 1: This AD applies to each airplane identified in the preceding applicability provision, regardless of whether it has been modified, altered, or repaired in the area subject to the requirements of this AD. For airplanes that have been modified, altered, or repaired so that the performance of the requirements of this AD is affected, the owner/operator must request approval for an alternative method of compliance in accordance with paragraph (c) of this AD. The request should include an assessment of the effect of the modification, alteration, or repair on the unsafe condition addressed by this AD; and, if the unsafe condition has not been eliminated, the request should include specific proposed actions to address it.
Compliance
Required as indicated, unless accomplished previously. To prevent inadvertent movement of a cargo pallet during flight, which could result in an adverse center of gravity condition and consequent reduced controllability of the airplane, accomplish the following: Manual Revision (a) Within 28 months after the effective date of this AD: Revise the Limitations Section of the FAA-approved Airplane Weight & Balance (W&B) Manual to include the following statement. This action may be accomplished by inserting a copy of this AD into the W&B Manual. ``Operation of any airplane without side vertical restraints installed on the main cargo deck when carrying any Type II cargo pallet is prohibited.'' Optional Corrective Action (b) Installation of side vertical restraints in accordance with a method approved by the Manager, Seattle Aircraft Certification Office (ACO), FAA, Transport Airplane Directorate, constitutes terminating action for the requirements of paragraph (a) of this AD. Alternative Methods of Compliance (c) An alternative method of compliance or adjustment of the compliance time that provides an acceptable level of safety may be used if approved by the Manager, Seattle ACO. Operators shall submit their requests through an appropriate FAA Principal Operations Inspector or Principal Maintenance Inspector, as applicable, who may add comments and then send it to the Manager, Seattle ACO. Note 2: Information concerning the existence of approved alternative methods of compliance with this AD, if any, may be obtained from the Seattle ACO. Special Flight Permits (d) Special flight permits may be issued in accordance with Secs. 21.197 and 21.199 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR 21.197 and 21.199) to operate the airplane to a location where the requirements of this AD can be accomplished. (e) This amendment becomes effective on November 24, 1999. Issued in Renton, Washington, on October 13, 1999. D.L. Riggin, Acting Manager, Transport Airplane Directorate, Aircraft Certification Service. [FR Doc. 99-27272 Filed 10-19-99; 8:45 am] BILLING CODE 4910-13-P

You just looked this one up by hand
TrackAD holds all 12,278 of them and matches them against the aircraft you actually look after — airframe, engine, propeller and appliances in one pass — then works out what falls due and when.
- Bring your existing list in from a spreadsheet Paste the rows straight out of Excel. Headers like C/W Date and N/A are read for you.
- A copy that works when this does not One file. No internet, no login, no this software running. For the morning something has to be produced and the computer is not cooperating.
- $5 a month, or $50 a year Up to 50 aircraft on either.
